The “ideation” phase

Well, dear reader, I’m not even sure if “ideation” is a word – or is it? I think it is, but at any rate, thats the phase I’m in this morning at time of writing this.

It’s 11:08 A.M. in China, and all is “quiet” and “well with the world” for the nonce. While that won’t last forever, and while I’d love to be in my “cave” and write all day long today as well, that’s not going to happen.

However, all is well with the world for NOW, and I keep “carping” upon “focusing on the here and now”, and “enjoying the moment for what it is” – so that, my dear reader, is what I’m doing, and enjoyment for me usually entails turning over ideas for the next book in my head as it were while I’m in this “uber- relaxed” frame of mind (a “job well done, yet plenty more left to accomplish” as it were, and I’m sure you know what I’m talking about here!)

“As well”?

Well, though I’m usually chained to the keyboard for the majority of the day anyway barring exercise breaks and “that thing we call life”, yesterday was a LONG one even by my standards as I finished, just had to finish as it were, part Two of “Sophia Bai – the Sequel”.

Ah, Sophia Bai, the lovely Sophia Bai, I cannot say enough good things about her, and what was originally intended to be “one off” turned into a book with a sequel, which in turn “turned into” another sequel (Part Two) and that threatens to run to Part Three as well.

Sophia Bai – the Sequel – Part Two should be up for sale on Amazon within the next few days, but for now, you may remember me mentioning that “Krystal – the Teaching Assistant –  Part Two” was still in the editing phase of things?

Not sure, and a huge thanks to my dear Editor at FDC for pointing out that it was already on sale. My bad on that one!

Anyway, be that as it may, there’s three novels that are currently in the works as we speak –

Madam Carrie – Volume #5

Krystal – the Teaching Assistant – Volume #2 (and this is what I was working upon this morning actually, so it is probably the first in line).

Sophia Bai – the Sequel – Part #3

But, I’m still turning over ideas for yet another new “series” in my mind. Or perhaps a “giant” one book novel. Not sure … pondering ideas as it were, but I’m pretty sure it’ll come to me whether I consciously ponder it or not.

“You can’t run away from that which you are, and once you ACCEPT who are, it all truly flows, whether you want it or not”.

‘Tis how it is, my friend. ‘Tis how it is.

And on that note, I’m off to do some deep breathing and visualizations.
